Start up

The agglomeration’s CLD offers the Jeunes Promoteurs Fund, which consists of non-refundable financial allowances (under conditions) to young people under 35 who wish to start their business.

In addition, in collaboration with Emploi-Québec, the CLD offers start-up promoters Self-Employment Support. These are weekly financial allowances offered by Emploi-Québec so that the promoter can start his business while supporting his needs. The prerequisites: to be on employment insurance (or to have been in the last 3 years), to be on employment assistance. Conditions: have a start-up project that fits in the priority sectors of the territory.

Then, the CLD offers the possibility of a start-up loan thanks to the collaboration with FuturPreneur.

The information session is offered every Friday morning of each week, unless something unexpected happens. Anyone with a business idea can attend. However, you must book your place by phone, email or register online.

For start-up: Young Promoters Fund, Junior Achievement Fund, Support for Self-Employment, Social Economy Enterprises Fund (financial assistance granted by the CLD).

There are also other types of financing (ACERS, Ready to Undertake, Créavenir, Futurpreneur, etc). CLD counselors can guide you in finding funding.
